Give Without Cost

"Cure the sick, raise the dead,
cleanse lepers, drive out demons.
Without cost you have received;
without cost you are to give."
(Matthew 10:8)

We should obey God’s word, to be discerning in our outreach and adaptable to God’s leading even when it challenges us. As followers of Christ, we should share the good news without delay, knowing that God’s kingdom is near. Jesus teaches reliance on God’s care. We, too, must trust in His provision as we fulfill our mission. Let us live out our faith with integrity, honesty, and a heart attuned to God’s will.

7 Jesus said to his Apostles: “As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give. 9 Do not take gold or silver or copper for your belts; 10 no sack for the journey, or a second tunic, or sandals, or walking stick. The laborer deserves his keep. 11 Whatever town or village you enter, look for a worthy person in it, and stay there until you leave. 12 As you enter a house, wish it peace. 13 If the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; if not, let your peace return to you. 14 Whoever will not receive you or listen to your words—go outside that house or town and shake the dust from your feet. 15 Amen, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.”  (Matthew 10:7-15)

Obey God's word, discerning and true, in outreach, adapt to His leading view. Challenges arise, yet we stand tall, sharing good news—His kingdom's call. Jesus teaches reliance on God's care,
No extra baggage, provisions to bear. Trust in His provision, unwavering grace, as we fulfill our mission, seek His face. Integrity and honesty, our guiding light, a heart attuned to God's will, shining bright. Let us walk this path with faith unswayed, His love and compassion our eternal aid.

Dear Lord Jesus, we seek Your guidance and wisdom. Help us obey Your word, discerning and adaptable even when challenges arise. May we share the good news without delay, knowing Your kingdom is near. Teach us reliance on Your care, trusting in Your provision as we fulfill our mission. Let our faith be marked by integrity, honesty, and hearts attuned to Your will. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

God’s heart is moved by our pain, and His compassion transcends human understanding. His love endures even when we stray. We should walk closely with God, knowing that His love and compassion are ever-present. Let us remain faithful to God’s Word, believe in His unchanging love, repent and turn back to Him when we stray and seek His compassionate restoration.

1 Thus says the Lord: When Israel was a child I loved him, out of Egypt I called my son. 2 The more I called them, the farther they went from me, Sacrificing to the Baals and burning incense to idols. 3 Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, who took them in my arms; 4 I drew them with human cords, with bands of love; I fostered them like one who raises an infant to his cheeks; yet, though I stooped to feed my child, they did not know that I was their healer. 8 My heart is overwhelmed, my pity is stirred. 9 I will not give vent to my blazing anger, I will not destroy Ephraim again; For I am God and not man, the Holy One present among you; I will not let the flames consume you. (Hosea 11:1-4, 8-9)

God’s heart is moved by our pain, His compassion beyond what we grasp. When we stray, His love remains, guiding us through life's stormy rasp. Walk closely with God, my friend, for His love and compassion endure. In His Word, our faith shall blend, a steadfast path, forever secure. When we falter, repent and return, His arms open wide, ready to embrace. Compassionate restoration, we discern, in God's love, we find eternal grace.

Dear Heavenly Father, Your heart is moved by our pain, and Your compassion transcends human understanding. Your love endures even when we stray. Today, we come before You, seeking Your guidance and restoration. Help us walk closely with You, Lord. May we cling to Your Word, believing in Your unchanging love. When we falter, grant us the humility to repent and turn back to You. Your compassionate arms are always open wide, ready to restore us. Thank You for Your unwavering love, Your presence, and Your faithfulness. May we remain faithful to You, trusting in Your compassionate heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God shepherds us individually and collectively. We should trust in God’s loving guidance, even during challenging times, seek His direction and listen to His voice. As we reflect on God’s past blessings and remember His faithfulness and provision, let us thank the Lord for restoring and reviving what we have lost during our times of difficulties.

2 O shepherd of Israel, hearken. From your throne upon the cherubim, shine forth. 3 Rouse your power. (R) 15 Once again, O Lord of hosts, look down from heaven, and see: Take care of this vine, 16 and protect what your right hand has planted, the son of man whom you yourself made strong. (Psalm 80:2, 3, 15-16)

God shepherds us, both one by one, and as a flock, His love we've known. In valleys low and mountains high, His guidance leads, His voice our guide. When storms assail and shadows fall, trust in His care, for He knows all. His loving hand, a steady hold, even when paths seem dark and cold. Reflect on blessings, countless, true, His faithfulness, a daily dew. Provision given, grace outpoured, thank the Lord, our hearts restored. For losses faced, His promise stands, to revive, renew, with healing hands. So let us walk, both near and far, in God's embrace, where wonders are.

Dear Heavenly Father, You shepherd us individually and collectively, guiding our steps with love. In challenging times, help us trust in Your unwavering guidance. May we seek Your direction and listen attentively to Your voice. As we reflect on Your past blessings, we remember Your faithfulness and provision. Thank You for restoring what we've lost during difficult seasons. Revive our hearts, Lord, and fill us with gratitude. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
