"He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.
Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you
that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.”
(John 16:14-15)
Each person has a distinct role but have a one goal to aim and that is to glorify Jesus through actions and words. Spiritual growth is a process, and our understanding of spiritual matters deepens over time. The role of the Holy Spirit is to illuminate our understanding and guide us in our spiritual journey. By the Holy Spirit, our spiritual maturity will continue to grow, revealing to us the divine truth.
12 Jesus said to his disciples: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. 13 But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. 14 He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. 15 Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:12-15)
In the grand tapestry of life, each thread unique, distinct roles we play, a common goal we seek. To glorify Jesus in word and deed, in every action, planting a seed. Spiritual growth, a journey, not a sprint, our understanding deepens, leaving its imprint. A process of time, of lessons learned, in the furnace of life, wisdom earned. The Holy Spirit, our guide on this quest, illuminating our path, putting us to the test. In the labyrinth of life, a beacon so bright, guiding us gently through the night. By the Holy Spirit, our maturity grows, like a river that steadily flows. Revealing divine truth, a treasure untold, in our hearts, a story of grace unfolds.
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, acknowledging that each of us has a distinct role to play, yet we are united in our aim to glorify You through our actions and words. Help us to remember that spiritual growth is a process, and that our understanding of spiritual matters deepens over time. We thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who illuminates our understanding and guides us in our spiritual journey. May we be open to the Spirit's guidance, and may our spiritual maturity continue to grow under His influence. Reveal to us the divine truth, Lord, and help us to apply this truth in our daily lives. May we always strive to glorify You in all that we do, and may our lives be a testament to Your love and grace. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
God gives life and breath to all things and has determined the preappointed times and boundaries of people’s dwellings. We should always respect the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, understanding and adapting their cultural and intellectual state of mind. It is important for us to give value to intellectual engagement, exchange of ideas, and adaptability in communication. In humility and understanding the value of empathy for personal growth, there is always the need of seeking first a relationship with the Divine. As we continue with our missionary journeys, let us always demonstrate courage and perseverance, remain steadfast in our own pursuits, even when faced with challenges.
15 After Paul’s escorts had taken him to Athens, they came away with instructions for Silas and Timothy to join him as soon as possible. 22 Then Paul stood up at the Areopagus and said: “You Athenians, I see that in every respect you are very religious. 23 For as I walked around looking carefully at your shrines, I even discovered an altar in scribed, ‘To an Unknown God.’ What therefore you unknowingly worship, I proclaim to you. 24 The God who made the world and all thatis in it, the Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in sanctuaries made by human hands, 25 nor is he served by human hands because he needs anything. Rather it is he who gives to everyone life and breath and everything. 26 He made from one the whole human race to dwell on the entire surface of the earth, and he fixed the ordered seasons and the boundaries of their regions, 27 so that people might seek God, even perhaps grope for him and find him, though indeed he is not far from any one of us. 28 For ‘In him we live and move and have our being,’ as even some of your poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’ 29 Since therefore we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the divinity is like an image fashioned from gold, silver, or stone by human art and imagination. 30 God has overlooked the times of ignorance, but now he demands that all people everywhere repent 31 because he has established a day on which he will ‘judge the world with justice’ through a man he has appointed, and he has provided confirmation for all by raising him from the dead.” 32 When they heard about resurrection of the dead, some began to scoff, but others said, “We should like to hear you on this some other time.” 33 And so Paul left them. 34 But some did join him, and became believers. Among them were Dionysius, a member of the Court of the Areopagus, a woman named Damaris, and others with them. 18:1 After this he left Athens and went to Corinth. (Acts 17:15, 22–18:1)
In the grand design of life's unfolding, where God breathes essence into all things, He sets the times, the spaces holding, each creature in the realm that clings. Respect we must, each soul's inherent worth, in every individual, dignity resides, understanding, adapting to their berth, in cultural and intellectual tides. Value we give to minds engaging, in the exchange of ideas, a dance so thrilling, communication's art, constantly staging, adaptability in discourse, our hearts filling. In humility we grow, empathy our guide, seeking first a bond with the Divine, personal growth on this ride, in the face of challenges, we shine. On our journey, like missionaries of old, courage and perseverance, our steadfast mold, in pursuit of our goals, let the story be told, of a spirit unbowed, of a heart bold.
Dear Divine, You, who gives life and breath to all things, who has determined the preappointed times and boundaries of our dwellings, we stand in awe of Your grand design. We pray for the grace to respect the inherent dignity and worth of every individual, to understand and adapt to their cultural and intellectual state of mind. May we value intellectual engagement, the exchange of ideas, and adaptability in communication. In humility, we seek personal growth, understanding the value of empathy in our interactions. Above all, we seek a relationship with You, the Divine. As we continue on our journeys, akin to the missionaries of old, grant us the courage and perseverance to face our challenges. May we remain steadfast in our pursuits, unwavering in the face of adversity. In Your name, we pray. Amen.
Worship is universal in nature and there exists interconnectedness of all creation. In awe and reverence for God’s majesty and power, we should always be grateful for God’s blessings and express our gratitude through praise. All stages of life are valuable and have a role in praising God. We should respect and value people of all ages. Let us always rely on God’s strength in times of difficulty and to celebrate His deliverance.
1 Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights. 2 Praise him, all you his angels, praise him, all you his hosts. 11 Let the kings of the earth and all peoples, the princes and all the judges of the earth, 12 Young men too, and maidens, old men and boys. 13 Praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven. 14 He has lifted up the horn of his people; be this his praise from all his faithful ones, from the children of Israel, the people close to him. Alleluia. (Psalm 148:1-2, 11-12, 13, 14)
In the vast expanse of the universe so wide, where all creation in harmony reside, worship is universal, a truth we confide, in awe and reverence, we take in stride. God's majesty and power, a beacon of light, guiding us through the day, protecting in the night. Grateful we are for His blessings so bright, expressing our gratitude with praise, our delight. From the young to the old, in life's grand parade, each stage valuable, in His image made. Respect and value, let them never fade, for in praising God, we have all played. In times of difficulty, when hope seems to wane, on God's strength, we lean, easing the pain. Celebrating His deliverance, like refreshing rain, in our hearts, His love will forever remain.
Dear Heavenly Father, in the vast expanse of Your creation, we stand in awe, recognizing the interconnectedness of all that You have made. We acknowledge that worship is universal, a law, written in the hearts of every creature, never to fade. In awe and reverence for Your majesty and power, we bow our heads, our hearts filled with gratitude. For Your blessings, abundant as a springtime shower, we offer our praise, our joyful attitude. From the youngest child to the eldest sage, we recognize the value of every stage. May we respect and value people of all ages, as each has a role in life's grand stages. In times of difficulty, when challenges tower, may we always rely on Your strength, our fortress, our tower. And in Your deliverance, we celebrate every hour, for You are our refuge, our shield, our power. In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
