Jesus Sends You

Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out
two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits.
MARK 6:7

Jesus sends you out and gives you authority to heal the sick and cast out demons in His name, to preach the good news of the kingdom and its glory and to serve the poor and the oppressed without shame. Do not worry about anything for the Lord will provide. He will supply all your needs according to His riches. He will give you peace that surpasses understanding and will fill you with joy and hope that never diminishes. In Jesus Name, preach repentance to all people. He has given you the power and the authority to heal the broken and set the captives free, to proclaim the gospel and the kingdom of God.

Jesus has called you to be his hands and feet to show compassion and mercy to those in need and to demonstrate His love and His grace. He sends you to be His ambassadors, to represent Him and His values, to invite others to join His family. He has commissioned you to be His witnesses to testify of His life and His resurrection and to make disciples of all nations.

7 Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits. 8 He instructed them to take nothing for the journey but a walking stick—no food, no sack, no money in their belts. 9 They were, however, to wear sandals but not a second tunic. 10 He said to them, “Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave from there. 11 Whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, leave there and shake the dust off your feet in testimony against them.” 12 So they went off and preached repentance. 13 The Twelve drove out many demons, and they anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them. (Mark 6:7-13)

The Lord is faithful in His promise. He does not lie or change His mind, keeps His word and fulfills His purpose for He is trustworthy and kind. Conduct yourself to always remain faithful to the Lord with your whole heart. Keep the word of the Lord, your God to love Him with all your being and obey His voice, to follow and walk in His ways and follow His plans. In doing so, you shall succeed in whatever you do, wherever you turn,

1 When the time of David’s death drew near, he gave these instructions to his son Solomon: 2 “I am going the way of all flesh. Take courage and be a man. 3 Keep the mandate of the Lord, your God, following his ways and observing his statutes, commands, ordinances, and decrees as they are written in the law of Moses, that you may succeed in whatever you do, wherever you turn, 4 and the Lord may fulfill the promise he made on my behalf when he said, ‘If your sons so conduct themselves that they remain faithful to me with their whole heart and with their whole soul, you shall always have someone of your line on the throne of Israel.’” 10 David rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. 11 The length of David’s reign over Israel was forty years: he reigned seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem. 12 Solomon was seated on the throne of his father David, with his sovereignty firmly established. (1 Kings 2:1-4, 10-12)

The Lord is your God from eternity to eternity. He has no beginning and no end. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the First and the Last. The Lord is your Father from eternity to eternity. He is the Father and the Friend of His children. He is the Abba and the Advocate of His heirs. He is the Lover and the Giver of His grace. Riches and honor are from the Lord. He is the source of every good and perfect gift, the provider and the rewarder of those who seek Him.

10 “Blessed may you be, O Lord, God of Israel our father, from eternity to eternity.” 11 “Yours, O Lord, are grandeur and power, majesty, splendor, and glory.” “Lord, you are exalted as head over all. Yours, O Lord, is the sovereignty; 12 riches and honor are from you.” “In your hand are power and might; it is yours to give grandeur and strength to all.” (1 Chronicles 29:10, 11, 11-12, 12)

Lord Jesus, You are the one true source of all power and authority. Have mercy on me Lord, a sinner. Please forgive me for the times when I have been reluctant in pursuing the purpose for which You are sending me. I do confess that there are still times when my full trust in You waivers. Despite all of these, never have You given up on me, ever believing in me that I will be able to finish the race. Thank You so much for giving me the privilege to be Your instrument in proclaiming Your word to the ends of the world. All glory, honor, and praise are Yours now and forever. Amen.
